Ian Pike
Senior Supervisor and Surveyor
What is Ian’s role?
Ian is one of our Senior Supervisors and a Surveyor for the team at Penshurst and oversees the day-to-day running of a range of projects as well as delivering many of our services and he is always more than happy to roll up his sleeves and get jobs done. He also spends a lot of his time surveying many of our projects prior to work starting.
Ian has been in the construction industry for 30 years, having started his career as a decorator and becoming NVQ level 3 qualified. From there he worked in various trades over the years, building up a rich resume of manual and supervisory skills including undertaking the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) training.
How does Ian spend his free time?
Ian is a keen runner and part of his local running club – although as he admits he is not particularly fast! Ian enjoys various activities in the gym including fitness classes and weight sessions and can often be found on a Saturday morning at my local parkrun. He also enjoys music of various different genres and often takes part in music quizzes.
