The client
Landmarc Support Services is a facilities management company that specialises in supporting the military training environment. As a joint venture between Mitie and Amentum, Landmarc provides a comprehensive range of services including both hard and soft facilities management services and plays a crucial role in maintaining the Ministry of Defence’s UK Defence Training Estate.
The project
Our client was finding it challenging to find reliable multi-trade contractors that could cover a large area of the UK at fair and reasonable costs. For this project, they required work to be carried out on a live working farm around machinery and livestock with access to all buildings required at all times.
Our solution
Our team created a program and structured labour to ensure no impact was felt by the working farm repairing both commercial guttering and also putting in place new tumbling wall piers around the site. By utilising both our teams from our Portsmouth and Swindon offices, we delivered a multitude of projects geographically accessing the South and South West of England.
The results and outcomes
Through delivering high-quality guttering and tumbling wall piers on the site we have added enhanced life expectancy to not only the barns but also the 200-year-old boundary walls.
